We are committed to growing kids in the Word of God and want to see children firmly grounded in the truth of God's Word so that they can be confident that they know "in whom they have believed in."

For all information on children’s ministries proceed to the children’s ministries table located at the south end of the lobby in front of the fireside room.

Plan To Protect

We are committed to making Evangel a safe place for children.

The plan to protect program policy ensures each volunteer who works with children has gone through an Approval Process of screening and an interview. We also provide training on safety procedures for the programs such as bathroom routines and supervision guidelines.

Journey - Beginnings (Nursery)

Our nursery is available to parents with children ages 7 to 24 months. It is located just off of the hallway, behind of the auditorium.

Mother’s Room

A Mother’s Room located on the north end of the main lobby, across from the reception desk, is available for nursing mothers who would like to quietly feed their babies while still observing the service through a large window.

JOURNEY - FIRST STEPS

A class for children age 2 is located on the upper floor (south wing) in Rooms 201/202. Loving, caring teachers will help your child better understand the Bible in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Using active learning, children will enjoy simple art projects, skits, puppets and fun worship!

JOURNEY - EMBARK

Our elementary program features big group worship and small group care. Grades 1 to 6 meet in the gymnasium for worship, drama, games, lessons and fun starting at 10:00 am.

JOURNEY - QUEST 56

Club 56 meets once a month for activities like bowling, swimming, laser tag, etc. There are also seasonal activities like hay rides and Christmas carolling. Its for students in grades 5 or 6.

JOURNEY - Adventure

An elementary Kidz Night is available Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 pm for K - Grade 6. It includes making new friends, crafts, devotions, games and sports located in the gymnasium.

WEE College

This is a preschool program for 4 and 5 year olds that teaches children basic biblical doctrine. It runs Wednesday mornings , 9 - 11 a.m., during the “Women In Touch” program. The cost including Bible is $70 or without $65.
