Missions
Evangel's vision statement declares what Jesus called the church to be...the vehicle by which men and women could find and fulfill God's purpose for their life. God desires that 'all peoples' be included in that reality, regardless of where they were born, or where they live.
At Evangel we believe that God has called us to emphasize the needs of those peoples around the world who have had the least opportunity to hear the 'Good News' of God's salvation in His son Jesus.
Through the support of missionaries and projects in various countries, Evangel seeks to respond with obedience and passion to fulfill 'The Great Commission' of Matthew 28:18-20 as well as meet physical needs in practical ways. The promise God makes in return is that there will be representatives from every tribe and language with us around God's Throne because of His grace and our obedience.
