Getting Married At Evangel!

Getting married is one of the biggest decisions you and your spouse will ever make and as a community of believers we not only want to rejoice with you but also help you prepare as you head down this amazing journey.

If you would like to get married at Evangel, we require that both you and your spouse participate in the "Marriage Foundations" premarital counselling program. *Note that you and your spouse may be excempt if you have previously participated in an equivalent program, course or seminar.

Our PreMarital Counselling Program

"Marriage Foundations" is designed for you and your spouse to gain greater insight into a Christ-centered marriage that prepares you both for the journey you are about to embark on with one another.

The purpose of the "Marriage Foundations" course is to teach you and your spouse how to build a healthy marriage, how to develop healthy attitudes and provide you and your spuse with practical tools that will assist in building a healthy marriage that will last a lifetime.

Our unique program consists of seven to nine (7-9) counseling sessions (one session per week) each lasting between 60 and 90 minutes long.

Sessions are held in the evening (Tuesday through Friday) at the Church.

Our pastoral care pastors are specially trained to work with you and your individual needs. You will work with the same counsellor throughout your seven to nine weeks of counseling.
