School Of Music
The school of music exists to teach students skill and to help them develop confidence so that they can impact their communities for Jesus Christ using the arts.
Currently, the school of music offers private lesson instruction in voice, piano and guitar.
Instructors
Kim Miller (Director) - Piano
Kim has a bachelor of theology with a music major and has been teaching for over 8 years. Kim teaches classical and popular piano, chording and more.
Sandra Roeck - Piano
Sandra is an experienced teacher and has focused on beginner students. She is extremely gifted in many venues in the arts department.
Blake Paul - Guitar
Blake has years of experience in teaching, performing & recording. He is extremely gifted & talented in his profession.
Tim Lemke - Guitar
Tim has a diploma in Music Performance from Grant MacEwan. He’s taught Jazz, Rock, Fusion for over 10 years. Check out his music on guitarchurch.com
Leah Pessoa - Vocal
Leah has taught vocal instruction for years. Directed children’s choirs & is currently involved in her worship team. She will be teaching private & beginner group lessons.
Jeremy Block - Vocal
Jeremy has a bachelor of music in Voice from the University of Alberta and has 3 years of teaching experience. Jeremy is currenly in the process of getting his master's degree in voice.
Michelle Maidment - Vocal
Michelle is currently in her last year of studies as she pursues her bachelor of theology with a music major. She comes to us with years of teaching experience.
Fees
The classes are divided into three semesters: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Students may start at any time throughout the calendar year.
Private 30-minute lessons are $17.00 for each session.
Lessons are given on a weekly basis. However, students are able to take more than one lesson/instrument per week.
Tuition must be paid in advance on a monthly, semester or yearly basis.
We accept debit, cash and checks for payment. Checks should be made out to Evangel Pentecostal Assembly. Advance arrangements may also be made for payments with a credit or debit card.
